For employers, that includes appointment letters, show-cause letters, letters of dismissal, and an employee handbook. We also assist with a domestic inquiry, working with specialists where the inquiry has to be conducted properly.
The Industrial Court is a statutory tribunal, not a court of law, and legal representation is not mandatory. We prepare employers and employees for conciliation with the industrial relations officer, and we support a human-resources team with consultation and case research.
Where we are instructed before proceedings are filed in the Industrial Court, a subsidy is available toward the cost of continuing the matter there. The extent of the subsidy is confirmed when instructions are taken.
